Masterkarn German Pinschers – Excellence for Over 37 Years

At Masterkarn German Pinschers, we take pride in breeding world-class, ANKC-registered German Pinschers that excel in the show ring, performance sports, and as beloved family companions. For over 37 years, our dedication to preserving and improving this wonderful breed has earned us international recognition.

Who We Are
Masterkarn was founded in 1984, initially with Dobermanns, and later with German Pinschers in 1989. As one of the four founding breeders of German Pinschers in Australia—and the very first in South Australia—we have been at the forefront of the breed’s development in this country.

Based in Queensland, Australia, all our dogs are raised as part of our family, both indoors and outdoors, ensuring they grow into well-socialized, balanced, and confident companions.

Our Breeding Philosophy
We are registered breeders under Dogs QLD and fully support responsible health and DNA testing for the breed. Our focus is on breeding healthy, well-tempered, and structurally sound German Pinschers for:
✔ Show homes – Producing competitive, high-quality show dogs
✔ Performance sports – Agility, obedience, and other canine activities
✔ Loving family companions – Active, intelligent, and affectionate pets

As preservation breeders, our mission is to protect and promote this rare breed. We have been actively involved in importing and exporting German Pinschers worldwide, ensuring strong, diverse bloodlines to maintain the breed’s future.

Our Achievements
While our priority is the long-term preservation of the breed, we are proud to have achieved many “firsts” for the German Pinscher in Australia, including:

🏆 Numerous Grand Champions and Champions bred under the Masterkarn name

Getting a Masterkarn Puppy

Meet Our Dogs
We are active on the Australian show scene, regularly competing in Ipswich, Brisbane (Durack), and major country shows in QLD. If you’d like to meet our dogs in person, feel free to contact us to find out our next show date!

While we love to see our puppies excel in the show ring or performance sports, there is no requirement to show or compete—we simply want our dogs to be placed in loving, responsible homes.
