We are an Australian National Kennel Council registered Breeder under Dogs Qld. We fully support all breed health/DNA testing. We do not support unnecessary testing or over breeding.

WHO ARE WE AND WHERE ARE WE?
Masterkarn was established in 1984 originally with our Dobermanns and later GERMAN PINSCHERS (1989) by us (John and Anita) for show, performance and companionship, achieving world renown status for our quality dogs. If you would like to know more about us click on this- About the breeders.
Masterkarn kennel was established with German Pinschers in 1989 as one of 4 founding breeders of the German Pinscher in Australia and the founder in South Australia.
We are situated in Qld, Australia and all our dogs are raised as part of our family, in our home and outside which gives a lovely social and balanced puppy.

WHAT WE BREED FOR AND WHY?
Our focus is on breeding exceptional German Pinschers for SHOW dogs, PERFORMANCE and COMPANION dogs for families and new show breeders in Australia. German Pinschers are a rare breed and is the main reason for our keeping of them other than the German Pinscher is an ideal all round active dog with families and active owners. We have nursed this breed since its arrival in Australia as preservation breeders to save them from extinction in this country.
We have imported and exported this breed for over 37 years. We are proud to be preservation breeders of German Pinschers, promoting this very old breed at every opportunity. We love our family dogs and know they are vitally important to this breed..

As preservation breeders, Masterkarn devotes all our time and huge outlay on importing new lines and promotions to see German Pinschers remain in the forefront as a breed in Australia since its beginning. Our dogs have achieved titles in many countries including producing Grand Champions from our exported dogs progeny, and also founded new kennels of German Pinschers and Dobermanns.

We breed Pinscher puppies usually two - three times a year, and you will need to reserve your pups from us, as we do book out very quickly. * We have produced Grand Champions, and many, many Champions to our name.

We are consistently on the show scene in Australia at dog shows around Ipswich, Brisbane (Durack), and some major shows in country areas of Qld. If you would like to meet our dogs please contact us for where our next dog show will be.
We do love to see our Show potential puppies excel in the show ring and our family dogs gain performance titles, but we do not force you to show or do performance with your dog as a condition of sale.
