We are a small boutique breeder, located on the Sunshine Coast; first established 2004. Our breeding girls have excellent hip and elbow scores, clear DNA, clear heart, and current eye certificates. They have exceptionally gentle temperaments with the beautiful golden smile! We carefully choose sires for our girls matching pedigree, physical characteristics and temperament to abide with Dogs Queensland code of ethics.
Goldens have played a central role in our family since 1996, loved by our children and now our grandchildren; they have loved (tolerated with grace) being 'dressed up', pushed in the 'doll pram' and attending 'tea parties', they are just the perfect family dog, intelligent, intuitive loyal and loving; they enjoy daily walks and swimming at the beach, love visitors and love to curl up beside us to watch TV - especially 'Bondi Vet' or 'The Super Vet'.
Our puppies are nurtured and raised in our home, we follow Early Neurological Stimulation protocols and Early Scent Introduction, providing additional physiological and emotional benefits to the puppies. The neonatal puppy brain develops at 'warp speed' and these specific exercises, performed for only 3-5 secs per day between day 3 and 16 are designed to enhance and develop the neuronal networks and synapses to encourage increased resilience, cardiovascular health, adrenal function, and ultimately the puppy's ability to respond and recover from everyday stressors. This also prepares the puppies to benefit from our extensive socialisation program which includes a systematic and gradual introduction of a broad range of people; big men, small children, people with hats, sunglasses, noises of all kinds, different surfaces to walk on and new toys everyday. This all feeds their curiosity and helps their growing brains to process and tuck these experiences away for the future.
Our puppies are wormed every 2 weeks, they are microchipped and vet checked at six weeks when they receive their first vaccination. As required by Dogs Queensland they have DNA taken via a buccal swab for confirmation of parentage and will be registered with Dogs Queensland.
