Deerlane kennels is a home-based, boutique kennel based on the southside of Brisbane, Qld.
Breeding for quality not quantity. Our focus is on functional dogs bred for health, temperament and breed type.

We began our breed journey for Finnish Lapphunds in 2013.
All our dogs are involved in many sports/activities including conformation shows, herding, and lure coursing.
Our dogs are most importantly part of the family; living in our house, sleeping on our couch, going on holidays and always by our side. They make fabulous family dogs, taking everything in their stride.

All our breeding dogs are DNA tested for genetic diseases (PRA, DM, Pompes), CHEDS Hip and Elbow scored, ACES eye tested, and hearts checked by a cardiologist.

We currently have no litter plans for 2021, but don't hesitate to contact us for general breed queries via email.
